NEST

Environment Models
Created by Corrigan Owen, I was brought on to do environmental models for the short film.  I created the various buildings, flowers, and scattered debris that can be seen throughout the film.

Inspiration for the environment was built off I and Corrigan's previous collaboration on Angler, as the films take place in the same universe.  In addition I sourced references from a variety of media to develop the style.

Models were then put through a pipeline to Pavel Kozulya, who handled UV unwrapping and texturing, as well as placement inside of the Unreal Engine 5 scene.

Grocery Run

Background Models
For this capstone, I was brought on to create a variety of bread models for the background of a scene.

Texturing for the normal bread was based on that of the 'Bread Cat', textured by another artist on the team, as well as the hand-painted look seen throughout the film.  For the others, I was given free reign to be creative and wacky with their style.

Within

Environment Models and Design
Collaborating on a senior capstone, the director wanted to challenge himself by combining 2D character animation with a 3D environment.

I handled the creation of the 3D environment based on his storyboards and feedback, modeling and texturing the variety of necessary assets in Maya.  In addition, I created segments of the hallway for him to easily link together for shots that required more of the scene to be visible.

11 Second Club

Environment Models
As a collaboration with fellow 3D animators, these background models were created for short animations for 11 Second Club entries.

For the first, a specific style of furniture was requested along side reference photos.

For the second animation, I was provided an animatic to design off of with guidance from the animator.
